Welcome to the FOOT Scheme website

FOOT stands for Feedback Orientated Observed Teaching scheme and is designed to deliver the clinical examination skills medical students want, but don’t always get.

We bring together enthusiastic junior doctors that know the best  clinical signs in a hospital with students that want to benefit from  their knowledge of the hurdles that they will face to become a Foundation doctor.

This site is designed for students, teachers and coordinators of the FOOTscheme

We are always looking for new sites to run the scheme so please contact us if you would like to set the FOOT Scheme up in your area and we would love to help. The “ FOOT Schemes in your area” tab will highlight any local schemes and we would be happy to put in touch with the coordinator at that site.
